On behalf of the EBMT and the Meeting Organising Committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 42nd EBMT Annual Meeting, including the 32nd Meeting of the EBMT Nurses Group, the 15th Meeting of the EBMT Data Management Group, the 8th Meeting of the Quality Management Group, the 5th Paediatric Day and the 10th EBMT Patient & Family Day, which in turn will incorporate the 3rd Donor Day.

We are very happy to offer you the opportunity to visit Valencia, where you will be able to find a perfect combination of tradition and modernity in the same city. Located in the East of Spain, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, Valencia has this unique charm that only harbour cities have. It is one of the cities in Europe that has experienced the most significant growth over recent years in terms of events and international recognition. This is due to the renovation of the historical city centre, the creation of new cultural and environmental sites such as the City of Arts & Sciences, the Oceanographic Marine Park and the Bioparc. Furthermore, Valencia has a mild climate all year round with more than 300 days of sunshine per year, over 20 km of unspoilt coastal beaches, a varied gastronomy (the home of the paella), the amazing Fallas festival in which the streets are filled with papier- maché figures that are set on fire and a Mediterranean way of life. Our venue is the newest Convention & Exhibition Centre of Feria Valencia only 15 min from the downtown area and 5 minutes from the Manises International Airport. Valencia is a little more than 300 km from both Madrid and Barcelona, and is very well connected by plane, motorway, and high-speed train
